The bike is outfitted with a sturdy "T" frame and 20-inch pneumatic tires that hold up to heavy use. The front linear pull brakes, meanwhile, teach kids how to safely stop using a hand brake, with a front & rear hand brake adding further stopping control. 4Solid bike- slightly vague instructions
By J. Mccarthy
The bike came with no damage and no missing pieces (didn't know that for sure til the end when everything was put together.) Amazingly, there were no left over pieces either.

The main bike is easy enough to assemble- nothing out of the ordinary. Once you're done, you'll realize that you still need to attach the fenders and the reflectors. For the front reflector, you'll need to backtrack a bit, and remove the handle bars as well as the large hex nut that the handle bar stem goes into. No mention of this in the instructions, and it would have been more obvious to do this earlier before first inserting the handle bars. No big deal though.

Once you get to the fenders, there's a pile of hardware left over with no inkling of what attaches which fender to where. This is where you're going to want to stop, log in to Amazon, and zoom in on the bike you just purchased.

All in all, I've had far more painful experiences assembling kids' bikes, and the first test ride went well. Note that the bike is significantly darker blue than what show in the pics, but I also don't find that to be a big deal. Also, there's no cross bar pad, despite what the description says.

Seems like a solid bike, and I've had good luck with Polaris in the past. I'd recommend giving this one a shot.

5This bike ROCKS!
By Brittany Faiga
This bike was the christmas fave! It's design makes it look like a motorcycle, which is "cool," and my son loves the colors- blue and silver. It took some time to assemble, but it's a great size bike and looks even bigger than it is cuz of the design. My son loves it and it was a great purchase!

1DON'T BUY THIS BIKE!! NO COASTER BRAKE!
By LI Girl
First, I've never left a bad review for any product on Amazon. Having said that, we purchased this from Amazon for our son for Christmas. We specifically bought this bike because it was advertised with both hand brakes AND a coaster brake. Well, after my husband spent considerable time assembling this (NOTE -- the directions are terrible like others have noted) we discovered it does NOT have a coaster brake.

Do yourself a favor -- don't buy this bike and instead go to a good bike shop like we are doing. We discovered that we can get our son a MUCH better bike and one that could last him for many years. We will spend a bit more but worth every penny.
